Building the Health Information Technology Workforce

At the 2009 National Council for Workforce Education annual conference, a session focused on the labor-market implications of “medical informatics” and other areas of health information technology, drawing on current program models and emerging research findings on occupations, training needs, and potential career pathways to middle- and higher-skilled jobs.
